14 February: Goal 1 Assessment. Turn in Notebooks
15 February: Choose a topic you are interested in. Brainstorm items you can research that are related to this topic. LAB- find at least 2 webpages and 1 article that relate to this topic. Print out your research. Hand write a reponse paragraph for each.
16 February: Class article response (how to correctly respond to an article). LAB- write an annotated bibliography for your topic.
17 February: LAB- write a rough draft based on your topic
18 February: LAB- write your final draft, incorporate notes from your rough draft.

21 February: Reading Informational Materials: Reader's Notebook p27-29 Recipes, p60-62 Dictionaries, p118-120 Signs and Instructions
22 February: Motivational Speaker, no class
23 February: Read "How To" samples . Choose something to write a "How To" on. LAB-Plan your steps out, write your how to. Add illustrations to clarify your steps.
24 February: Reading webpages. Reading Informational Materials: Reader's Notebook p165-168 Brochures, p206-210 Technical Documents, p234-240 Historical Research, p262-264 Case Studies. Review for Assessment.
25 February: Goal 2 Assessment. Turn in Notebooks.
